ABOUT US
From the Beginning
I am a mom of 2 boys. I graduated with a bachelor's degree from Purdue in Business in 2016. I earned my CDA in 2024 and in 2025 I earned my associates degree in early childhood education. Coffee House Daycare has been open since August of 2020. We are now a class 2 licensed family childcare and Paths to Quality Level 2. We are constantly striving to increase the quality of care we give. Reach out to learn more and enroll with us today!
OUR TEAM
To be part of the team at Coffee House Daycare all teachers must pass a background check, physical, TB test, CPR/First Aid certified, complete state-issued training, and drug tested.

Employees are able to bring their children to work, apply for TEACH scholarships, and have the ability to grow with the company!
MEGAN MILLINGTON
Director/Owner
As the Director/Owner of the daycare, Megan works hands-on with the kids and handles all of the behind-the-scenes running the business.
ROBIN BAKER
Lead Teacher
As a Lead Teacher, Robin has earned her associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education. She works directly with the kids and planning the curriculum.
SHELBY SCHUMAN
Teacher
As a Teacher, Shelby works hands-on with the children, plans daily activities, and fills many roles throughout the daycare.
OUR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS
Play. Grow. Learn.
OUTDOOR PLAY
We provide a space for outdoor play all year round. We have a large fenced in backyard, swing sets for infants and toddlers, and much more. We encourage you to dress your child in appropriate clothing. We get messy but have fun and learn while doing so.
ART
You can expect arts and crafts to come home weekly. Your child will express themselves with free art daily. Throughout the weeks children also put together themed crafts that go along with the curriculum.
IMAGINATIVE PLAY
Watch as your child's imagination grows with them! We encourage kids to free play by providing them with several dramatic play areas. They can dress up as a fairy or a firefighter, become a chef or shop in a market. The sky is their limit.
SENSORY
The children get hands-on play through our sensory activities. Sensory play encourages learning through exploration, curiosity, and creativity!
SMALL GROUP ACTIVITIES
Small group activities allow the teachers more one on one time with each kid to help them grow in all areas. We focus on Math, Science, Reading, Writing, and much more!
NUTRITION
We provide breakfast, am snack, lunch, and a pm snack every day. Meals include fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and protein. We want to ensure your child is getting all of the nutrition they need to help their body and mind grow.
